Over many years I have developed this group of excel files to help my with my family history research.
These files consist at the moment of 8 files, each one stores the indexes of a different type of data, for that listing. the main one of these consist of Census returns, parish returns, BMD records, and my own name index. The are 4 others census image index, document database, 1939 index and a different version on my name index which is a mixture of my name index and document index that I am working on. A full list of files is below.
Also there are two help files, one is how to use custom reference numbers and how to use the different index files
How-to-use-custom-reference-numbers
How-to-use-the-index-files
Each file has a default name which could looks something like this FH_Census-index-mo-yr.xlsx, once you have made a copy of this file, you can move this file into your working folder. i would recommend you rename the file to something like this Linge_Census-index-June-2019.xlsx. The reason for both the name and date is because I have found over time, I had many copies of the same file from different backups and i am also researching more then one name. So by adding the month and year i know which is the most current file i am using.
So what is contained in this zip file, is all 8 excel spreadsheet (Office 2016) files and two help files as well.
I will create a set for open office and the older excel 2003 should anyone want a set.
