This web site has been designed to help us in ways to store most information electronically and ways to use some computer programs which can help us with our family history research.
I have tested many different programs to find the best way that might help me with my family history research, in doing so I have created different documents to help me collect and record my family history information.
I have been asked many time how is the best way to do different things related to the use of computers programs with family history research. So I hope to bring this all together into one web site to help you and me with our family history information research. (Yes I do forget things I have done so by creating this web site I might remember some things I did in my early years of research)
If you have been researching over a long time and gathered lots of information, some information will have came easy and other information will have been hard to find. But regardless of how long you have been researching, one day you might just have to go back to the start of your research, and look at some of the first lot of information you collected, or how you collected it. Anyone who is just starting out on the family history trail may need help to point them in the right direction, on how to store the information.
So this is where this web site comes in, looking at ways to help us in our research, from a beginner to an expert to still pays to look back and review what and how we have done our research. If you know of a way to research one area which I have not covered and would be happy to share it with everyone, I will be happy to add it to this web site and of course accredit this information to you.
